This fixing plate is the power cord bracket for some T1 and T3 models of treadmills by Matrix.
This power cord bracket prevents thermal occurrences. Thermal occurrences happen when the cord is loose in the plug. Evidence of a thermal occurrence appears on the power cord, the power socket, or both. Melting or discoloration can be seen.
Additional parts will need to be replaced if there is evidence of a thermal occurrence.
